Hebrew translation

Hello, My mom found MM5 features very well suited for her needs,
but she's having trouble with reading English.

I wanted to provide her with a translation to Hebrew (native tounge),
but I cant seem to see the option to add a new language for translation in Weblate interface.

How can I add this language to start translating?

Hi,

Sorry, I went on vacation soon after you posted this and didn't get to it until now.

We'll add an (empty) hebrew translation, so that you can get started. I'll let you know once it's ready.

Thanks!

If anyone is interested in working on the hebrew translation please let me know.

The language is set up in Weblate our web-based translation tool.

You can find translation instructions here. Just let me know if you're interested and I can give you access to work on it.

Thanks. took me a while to see the replay...

The Save button is grayed out, saying I need to agree to the contributor agreement.
When I try doing so, Weblate say I already did :\

I guess i need a final approval from the moderation side?
my profile @ Weblate is `https://translations.mediamonkey.com/us ... eYourMilk/`

till now, I have translated about 50%.

I have two questions:
1. How can I test the translation? see it on the player.
1.1. Hebrew has no folder in the Locale folder
and is not an option in Settings.

1.2. The other languages dont have `default .mo` (as stated by the instructions), but `Language .mo`
I tried replacing the 'French' `language .mo` with mine, but restrting MM5 with French just gave me the interface in English.

2. When on the player, can I know what string is displayed where?
(e.g. Genre can apear in Sort, Column visibility, settings and other)

Hi,

That's great news--I'm super excited to see this!

1) Re. testing the translation: we'll add the choice of hebrew to MediaMonkey 5.1 (the beta should be out within a week or so) so that you can use the .mo file with MM 5.1.

2) In MediaMonkey, there's no 'hints' as to what string is displayed where. The best way to understand this is via weblate's Explanation / Source string comment / Source string location fields. If there are some strings that are still unclear, you can ask here, or add a "source string comment"--I review those periodically and update source string explanations in weblate based on that feedback.

Thanks!
