i'm trying to cast from MMW to MMA which used to work fine, but since a windows reinstall MMA is not available to cast to.

i can cast to other devices just fine, and i can access MMW library from MMA via UPnP, but i want to cast from MMW and have MMA passively play.

any ideas why MMA (and not other devices) fails to appear in the 'play to' menu option, or the 'cast' button to the bottom right of screen? and how to encourage it to appear?

MMA is not DLNA renderer capable and that is why it is not seen in Cast to.

oh, maybe i was casting the other way.

or maybe i was using home assistant some how.
