When moving MM to a new machine, the instructions are to move the copied database prior to installing MM on the new machine.
Where is the appropriate location to put the copied database when moving to a new computer given there are no MM folders yet?
Thx in advance!

It's easiest to do this after installing MediaMonkey on the new PC. Default database location is described here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ini-files/

Re: Add copied database appropriate location on your new PC.
Thx! I added it to a folder outside MM.
I changed the ini file to point to it and all the music on the new D drive vs the C drive from the old machine was found.
All of the playlists are there; however, they are empty. What do I need to do to point them to the D drive?

Re: Add copied database appropriate location on your new PC.
As explained here you need to update the driveID.
However if Playlists are empty something went wrong. After transferring the database the Playlists should have the files, but unplayable. Did you remove files after transferring the database.
